Travel Counsellors recognised for a sixth year for international growth
Travel Counsellors has secured a place on a prestigious listing in the UK in recognition of the company’s international sales growth in the last 12 months.
This is the sixth time the business has been ranked in the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, and sees it rise to 164th, up six places on last year.
The independent global travel company, which now has over 1600 home-based Travel Counsellors running their own businesses across Ireland, the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Australia, and the UAE, has consistently achieved strong growth figures, with group turnover increasing by 63% over the past three years, and growth in international operations increasing by 86% during the same period. The company’s Total Transaction Value for the financial year end (31 October 2016) is £447m (€507m).
The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table ranks companies with the fastest-growing global sales, measured over their latest two years of available accounts, with minimum total sales of £25m (€28m) and international sales of at least £1m (€1.13m).
