Aspira, the Consulting and Enterprise IT Services company, will host the second of their free Lunch and Learn series in Dublin, with a keynote address on how to ‘Disagree Agreeably’ from Walter Bradley, Managing Director of Dale Carnegie Ireland.

The free lunchtime lecture will take place at 12.30pm on June 15th in Hilton Garden Inn, Dublin Custom House. A light lunch will be provided and attendees are asked to register in advance. More details can be found here: http://bit.ly/Lunlearn.

Announcing Walter as the keynote speaker, Norma Lynch, Head of Training at Aspira, said: “When working closely with other people to deliver a project, occasional disagreements are inevitable.  If left unresolved, these conflicts can waste a lot of time and energy, and affect productivity.  A Project Manager must ensure that not only is the task completed, but that relationships are maintained.

“Research shows that successfully resolving disagreements can result in a greater mutual respect and deliver higher performance. Whether managing a project or working within a project team, Walter, a Management Trainer with 15 years’ experience, will give insight into how to navigate issues, forging a more positive relationship between staff.”

A leading training provider in the areas of Project Management and Business Analysis, Aspira will host aLunch and Learn event every two months, with venues alternating between Cork and Dublin. The first of the series took place in April in Cork, with a keynote lecture on how detailed analysis of requirements can lead to success in the sporting and business worlds.

Pat Lucey, CEO of Aspira, added: “We are delighted to host our second complimentaryLunch and Learn series in Dublin, with what we hope will be an enlightening way to spend your lunch hour.

“At Aspira, we have always recognised the value in considering varying opinions and challenging groupthink. We look forward to hearing from Walter on how to disagree agreeably – how to challenge in a constructive manner, building bridges rather than burning them.”

Future Lunch and Learn speakers will include Dr Susan Steele, Chair of the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority, who will discuss Stakeholder Management and how to deal with stakeholders who may have differing priorities, and Susie Horgan, Managing Director of Springboard PR and Marketing, who will share her insights into how digital channels can communicate your message to the right people.
