Contracting PLUS Announces 30 New Jobs
Ireland’s leading accountants for professional contractors, CXC Consultants Exchange, today announced their new name, Contracting PLUS. Further to their buyout of foreign investors, Contracting PLUS is now a wholly owned Irish company with expansion plans in Ireland as well as in the UK and Europe which will lead to the creation of 30 new jobs, 17 of which will be in their Irish offices in Dublin and Cork.
Contracting PLUS has seen a 70% increase in turnover in the last 3 years with a 50% growth in employee numbers to in excess of 100 people in their offices in Ireland, UK, Russia and India. Contracting PLUS provides solutions to over 3,000 professional contractors in sectors including Aviation, Engineering, IT and Pharmaceutical.
Welcoming the announcement, the Minister for Research and Innovation Mr Sean Sherlock said:
“Delivering strong export growth is fundamental delivering the economic recovery we are all working so hard to achieve. Internationalising our services sector is one of the areas that offers particular potential for export growth. Through the Action Plan for Jobs, the Government is determined to support Irish services such as Contracting Plus to help them build their overseas business and support valuable job creation at home.”
Commenting on the announcement, Michael Dineen, Chairperson and Founder of Contracting PLUS said: “We were delighted when the opportunity arose to buy out our minority shareholder and become a wholly owned Irish company. We have seen significant growth in the flexible workforce in Ireland and our company has expanded in line with that growth. We are delighted to take this opportunity to announce our rebrand which we believe reflects more accurately what we do. Contracting PLUS will continue to provide contractors and the contracting market with expert accounting solutions and assist in contracting related queries both nationally and internationally. We have ambitious growth plans and will actively be recruiting for the new roles in the coming months. The jobs will range from graduate to management level across a number of disciplines including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Tax, Payroll and IT.”

Turnover at Contracting PLUS has increased year on year in line with the very buoyant contracting market. This year their turnover exceeded €4.6m reflecting a 20% increase over the previous year.
