Cork Fertility Centre, one of Ireland’s leading fertility and IVF clinics, is to host a free information seminar on Saturday, 21^st March 2015 at the Kingsley Hotel, Cork at 10am.

 A team of consultant gynaecologists, scientists and fertility nurse specialists will deliver talks on maximising chance of conception and will explain different treatment options and techniques available.

The seminar will begin at 10am with a talk entitled ‘Understanding Your Fertility’, presented by Dr Moya McMenamin, Consultant in Reproductive Medicine. This will be followed by an overview of fertility treatments and options by Dr John Waterstone, Medical Director of Cork Fertility Centre.

Dr Tim Dineen, Head of Laboratory Services, will discuss male fertility factors and Jayne Flanagan, Senior Clinical Embryologist, will explain the latest scientific developments in the laboratory.

Speaking about the free seminar, Dr John Waterstone said: “We understand how intimidating it can be to seek fertility advice. Our hope is that through this informal fertility seminar, men and women will feel more comfortable about taking that important next step. Sometimes difficulties can relate to something as simple as lifestyle, which can be addressed and resolved easily. Other couples may need fertility treatment in order to conceive.”
