The tech sector in Ireland is booming. From Internet of Things start-ups to multinational innovations, there has never been a more exciting time to be part of the tech community in Ireland.

It is, by its nature, a rapidly changing industry with some mind-boggling concepts, and sometimes it can be hard to keep up. Luckily, Irish tech journalism has never been stronger.

So, if you can’t tell your blockchain from your Bitcoin, we’ve compiled a (non-exhaustive) list of the tech journalists you should be following for all the latest inside scoops, industry news and world-changing tech breakthroughs.

As tech editor of the Irish and Sunday Independent and host of the Big Tech Show, there’s not much Adrian doesn’t know about the global and national technology landscape. His Twitter feed offers a wry, uncompromised take on everything from honest smartphone reviews to live updates on Eir’s plans for Irish broadband.

As a business and technology journalist as well as the beer and betting columnist, Emmet Ryan has carved out a singular voice both in his published work in the Sunday Business Post, and online.
