Four new Partners for RDJ Solicitors
Ronan Daly Jermyn (RDJ), Ireland’s largest regional legal firm, continues to grow with the appointment of four new Partners. Ashling Walsh has become a Partner in their Insolvency & Restructuring Department, Carrie McDermott in General Litigation, Uilliam O’Lorcain, based in the firm’s London office, in Commercial Litigation, and David McCarroll, based in the firm’s Galway office, in Employment Law.
The progressive firm, who recently moved to their new headquarters in City Gate Park, Cork employs 160 people, including 25 Partners, between their Cork, Galway and London offices and has already appointed 10 new solicitors within the last year.
Commenting on the announcement, Richard Martin, Managing Partner of RDJ Solicitors said: “These appointments highlight our continued strategic development and commitment to build our teams in line with our clients’ needs.”
Uilliam O’Lorcain, who has worked with RDJ for the last 8 years, advices on all aspects of inter-company disputes, with a particular focus on contractual, professional negligence and product liability disputes. Uilliam is based at the firm’s London office at 30 St Mary Axe in the City.
Ashling Walsh, who has worked with the firm since 2006, advises on all aspects of insolvency and restructuring, providing strategic advice to companies facing financial difficulties and advising financial institutions in the context of borrower default.
Carrie McDermott advises on all aspects of litigation, from breach of contract to personal injury defence and plaintiff litigation to road traffic matters in the High and Circuit Court. She has worked with RDJ since 2002.
David McCarroll joined RDJ’s Galway office in 2008 and is a specialist in all aspects of employment law, providing advice for over 10 years to both employers and employees.
In addition to its Cork corporate headquarters, RDJ has an office in Galway where the firm employs 30 people.
