Springboard Communications respects your right to privacy. This statement sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide us, will be processed by us. We will collect and process the following data about you:
Information you give us
This is the information you give to us through correspondence by phone, email etc. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, phone number, photograph, email address, company postal address and billing information.
We also process information you provide to us if you wish to avail of additional features or services such as through the “Contact Us” page or other sections of the website where the User can send emails, provide feedback or request information. Where personal information is submitted it will be used for the stated purpose (e.g. to send newsletters, industry tips and ebooks to you), and marketing and administration purposes only. You agree to the use, storing and processing of such information for these purposes. Any of the information you provide will not be released to third parties.
Information we collect about you
We collect the basic statistical information provided by our internet provider when you visit our website. The statistical information includes the IP and logical address of the server you are using, the top level domain name from which you access the internet, the type of browser you are using, the date and time you access our site and the internet address linking to our site. This statistical information helps us monitor traffic on our website so that we can manage the site’s capacity and efficiency therefore helping us improve the administration of our site.
We also collect contact details of potential suppliers, journalists and partners, for the purposes of our legitimate business interests.

We work closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, recruiters etc.) and may receive information about you from them.
Why we process your data
We process your data in order to perform the services you have requested of us or to take steps at your request prior to undertaking to provide services for you.
We also process data for the purposes of our legitimate interest in the undertaking of our business. This would include the processing of journalists’ contact information to inform them of our clients upcoming activities which may be of interest to them.
We also process data for marketing purposes. If you are a client of ours or have provided us with your email address via our website, we may contact you in regards to services, industry news and events which may be of interest to you. You can unsubscribe from our marketing contact list at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” on our emails or by emailing info@springboardcommunications.ie.
Who we share your data with
We are very conscious of our responsibilities in regards to sharing your details with third parties. As a client of ours, we would only do so in a way that we are sure would be in both of our legitimate interests, for example we may share your details with a photographer in order that they may contact you directly. As a supplier, we may recommend you to a client.
We do not share our marketing email list with third parties.
Data Retention
We store client data for as long as we provide services to you and for a period of five years after the ending of our partnership.
If you sign up to receive marketing materials from us, we will hold your information until you decide to unsubscribe from our email list. You will be given the opportunity to do so with each mailing. We will completely delete your contact information when you unsubscribe.
Where we store your information
You have the right to request that we:
- Inform you whether we process your data, provide you with details relating to our processing, and with a copy of your data
- Rectify any inaccurate data we might have about you without undue delay
- Complete any incomplete information about you
- Erase your personal data without undue delay
