The biggest charity collection across the biggest county in Ireland proved a huge success for CUH Charity on October 16th.

Hundreds of volunteers took to the streets of the city and county to sell the €2 Cork Visa on behalf of CUH Charity. All proceeds from the Visa will go towards the much-needed refurbishment of the Children’s Unit.

CUH Charity’s event was a landmark achievement and showed the strength of people power.

The day was a massive logistical operation involving the Gardaí, Cork City and County Council, the Navy, Cork Airport, Irish Rail, Bus Eireann, schools, students, doctors, nurses, members of Cork Chamber of Commerce and countless others.

The event was organised as part of Cork Rebel Week which CUH Charity was proud to have been selected as official charity partner of.

Springboard PR & Marketing provided key event management support and organisation as well as managing all social media and delivering a PR campaign that secured widespread television, radio and print coverage including RTE, TV3, Today FM, Newstalk, 96FM, Red FM, Irish Examiner, Irish Daily Mirror, Irish Mail on Sunday, Evening Echo and Cork Independent.
