Springboard Communications Strengthens Strategic Offering with Two New Roles
The agency has announced the appointment of two new senior roles: Sandy Boundy as Director of Strategy and Insight and Ciara Flaherty as Client Director. The positions strengthen Springboard Communications’ expanding service offering, as the agency continues to address their clients’ immediate business priorities, from driving sustainability to connecting increasingly remote teams through strategic internal communications.
The newly created role of Director of Strategy and Insight will see Sandy, who is the former Communications & Sustainability Manager at HEINEKEN, leading strategy efforts. She will work closely with the team to guide, deliver and optimise key outcomes for both Springboard Communications and its partner clients, particularly in her areas of expertise of internal communications and sustainability.
Further new appointments include Ciara Flaherty, who after five years with the agency, is promoted to Client Director. Drawing on her continued work and expertise in external communications for corporate clients, Ciara will also head up Springboard’s new Internal Wire division. Through this dedicated service offering, Springboard partners with clients on all aspects of internal communications, from strategic planning to leadership engagement; content creation to training.
Susie Horgan, Founder and Managing Director of Springboard Communications said: “We’ve all seen great change in the global workforce, driven by remote working and digital transformation. We’ve partnered with our clients, listening and understanding the key issues they are facing and developed our offering accordingly. It is our agility combined with our years of experience that allows us to evolve with our clients.
“Location is no longer a barrier — for both teams and businesses — and we are seeing increased demand locally and globally for our services. Sandy and Ciara’s appointments signal our continued commitment to investing in, and building out, sustainability and internal communications expertise and spearheading our own growth trajectory.”
With over 23 years’ experience working in blue chip fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) multinational organisations, Sandy has worked on domestic and global brands in a career encompassing corporate affairs, marketing management, innovation, product development and strategic planning. She also lectured part-time in Munster Technological University and is currently an active member of the Purpose Disruptors Ireland PR Community.
