Springboard Managing Director and Strategic Lead, Susie Horgan has been officially elected to the Cork Chamber board.  

Cork Chambers Annual General Meeting took place virtually on 27 July, with this year’s theme as “Looking Forward with Confidence”.   

The meeting included the announcement of five new Cork Chamber board members, including Springboard MD Susie Horgan. Newly elected alongside Susie included Robert Horgan, Café Velo/Velo Coffee Roasters; Maxine Hyde, Ballymaloe Foods; Michael Nolan, Grant Thornton and Debbie Power, Vodafone. 

On the day, Paula Cogan of Doyle Collection was re-elected as President, Ronan Murray of Deloitte was elected as Vice President, Thia Hennessy of Cork University Business School was elected as Honorary Secretary and Gerard O’Donovan of CIT was elected as Honorary Treasurer.

Speaking on her appointment, Susie Horgan said: “It is an honour to be elected to the Cork Chamber board, during what is a challenging time for so many businesses, I am eager to provide input on issues and opportunities within the Cork business community and continuing the promotion of Cork as the best place for business.”  

Along with her recent election to the Cork Chamber board, Susie is also a Non-Executive Director of UCC Academy (a subsidiary of UCC), and Fota Wildlife Park.
