THE BRIEF

Aspira is a leading Irish Enterprise IT and Project Management Professional Services firm. Headquartered in Cork and with offices in Dublin, Aspira’s client base covers the US, UK, and Europe. In February 2016, Aspira announced the creation of 50 new jobs with the opening of their new Cork headquarters. This announcement arrived as Aspira acquired B-Tec Solutions. Springboard was tasked with:

• Managing media relations around the announcement.
• Highlighting the success of the company and its continued growth.

THE EXECUTION

Springboard Communications worked with Aspira to identify a multitude of media opportunities for this good news story. A variety of outreach strategies were employed to ensure maximum media coverage.

We developed a media release, along with feature items for broadcast and print and a social media strategy across LinkedIn and Twitter. The announcement was centred around An Taoiseach Enda Kenny officially opening Aspira’s new Cork headquarters.
Springboard managed all media relations along with photography on the day of the Taoiseach’s visit.

THE RESULTS

• Springboard secured national media coverage in more than 27 media outlets,
• This included RTE Radio 1, RTE.ie, Today FM, Newstalk, Red FM, IrishTimes.com, Independent.ie, BreakingNews.ie, BusinessandFinance.com, SiliconRepublic.ie, the Irish Examiner, the Irish Independent and the Irish Sun.
