We are delighted to announce that Springboard Communications has officially signed a Local Green Deal with Cork City Council, a sustainability action to help Cork become a leading Net Zero City.

We believe in the power of communications to drive real change. Through our sustainability communications expertise, we support our clients in telling their sustainability stories, ensuring their impact is seen, heard, and understood by all stakeholders.

Signing this Local Green Deal reinforces our dedication to sustainable business practices and aligns with our broader mission, including our B Corp certification and ongoing work with our clients. A Local Green Deal (LGD) is a partnership between a business or community group and its city to take impactful climate actions in its organisation and sphere of influence. LGDs are closely aligned with Cork’s strategic vision for 2030, which aims to transform the city into a smart, sustainable urban hub.

We are proud to be one of 11 organisations involved. As part of the initiative, we have made commitments under the key themes of ‘natural environment’, ‘resource management’, ‘communities’ and ‘partnership’.
